This past week

Thalia looking proud in her new ballet tutu and Dr. Seuss hat on her birthday. Jasper and Sophia this morning at drop off. Jasper and his brother,  Magnus came over for dinner tonight. Thalia confronting her fears at the zoo on Memorial Day. Ella and Sophia enjoying a much-deserved ice cream break after a 3-hour dress rehearsal. Yesterday

Yesterday Vic and Kate came over a visit. The girls loved to play with them! Earlier that day the girls put on their tutus and danced around the living room. Tomorrow morning Thalia has her first ballet class ever. Both girls will be in the same class this summer.

Blueberries

Cherries!

This past Wednesday Sheila and I and the girls picked cherries for the first time ever - in Brentwood. These are some delicious cherries.

Picking Blueberries

Yesterday Sophia and Thalia picked blueberries with Sophia's friends from preschool, Leila and Alicia. The girls were encouraged to sample as they picked and this they enjoyed tremendously!

its a good life

These girls had such a fun day yesterday. After blueberry picking at Jessop Farms near Manteca these girls played in the sprinklers and sunbathed.  Alicia, Leila, Sophia and Thalia and all of the parents had a little picnic, too. A warm start to the summer.

Sheila's visit

 I just returned from taking Sheila to the airport. She was here for almost a week! As always it was so nice to see her. I'm glad she had the chance to watch Sophia's fiddle performance earlier today. More photos from the performance will be posted within a few days, I hope.
