Paddle Boating in Monterey, Boardwalk in Santa Cruz

Sophia and Thalia both spent a lot of time this weekend performing for us. I made some video clips and am having a hard time posting them. Hopefully I can have some up soon. [I've uploaded one so far to youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ff63LvDLHmc]

Paddle boating on the lake in Monterey was a lot of fun. We even had a picnic right there on the boat. In Santa Cruz we visited the Boardwalk and had lunch at the home of our good friends, Henry and Janine. Of course we stopped along the way for capuccinos for us and baby-cinnos for the girls. We also stopped for tacos at Tres Amigos on the way down and back up. Yum!

Mini-Vacation in Carmel / Monterey / Pacific Grove / Santa Cruz

We just got back from a great mini-vacation in the Monterey area. We spent part of the second day in Carmel, on lovely Carmel Beach (not very warm there), and walking around downtown Carmel. We also visited the mission. Later we let the girls play at the fabulous Denis the Menace Park in Monterey and then took a walk around Pacific Grove.
