Fairyland with Zola
Today we met Zola and her mom, Robin, at Fairyland in Oakland. It was a beautiful sunny day and the girls had lots of fun. Thalia opted not to ride on the train with Sophia and Zola so we took a little snack break.

Zelda and Sophia
This is Sophia's friend, Zelda, from preschool. Lately they have had face painting at preschool. Hopefully this fall they might be in the same kindergarden class. We both asked for the same school (there are three schools with three kindergarden classes each).

Tiara
I need to post about this morning's incident. Until I do, here are two photos to show you that Thalia is doing well. Let's hope tonight is a better night for Thalia.
This weekend
This weekend we had a lot planned. Saturday morning a few friends here before heading over to the Easter Fair. We missed the Easter Bunny arriving on a firetruck because of all the rain but we had a great time. This has become a tradition for us. After ballet, we dropped the girls off at Jasper's house, where they had a pizza/movie night while Steve and I had a date night.
The next day we had brunch with friends, Andrew and Marion, who have two boys, Pele and Kahlil and then we had dinner with Leila's parents who live in Orinda. Leila is Sophia's friend from Duck's Nest and we are enjoying getting to know this family.
I can't believe this is the only photo that I took this weekend....
Zach
The next morning we had breakfast at one of our favorite places: La Boulange. Then we headed over to meet Zach and his mom, Lisa at the Children's Creativity Center in Yerba Buena.
Getaway
Last weekend we celebrated our anniversary early by getting away to the Fairmont. This was a surprise to Steve and I got a great deal thanks to my connections through work. We even got an upgrade and champagne was waiting for us. Here you can see our view. After ballet class we packed up and headed out. Steve wasn't allowed to remove the blindfold until we found a parking spot. The girls did a great job keeping a secret.
