More Beach

Dancing to Blue Grass

Here you can see Bailey and Sophia dancing to live music at the Cheese Board. The girls had so much fun here. Bailey's brother, James, is 7 months old already.

Day in the sun

Yesterday we spent the first part of the day at the beach in the Marina. Such a beautiful day.
That afternoon we met up with Bailey at the Farmer's Market in the gourmet ghetto.  The girls danced to live music and we all had delicious Cheese Board Pizza for dinner.

Sista Monica's Birthday Party

Last weekend we drove over to Sista Monica's birthday party. More details soon.

The lollipop basket

Sophia knows what she wants here. Its the lollipop basket. Her ballet teacher, Paula, allows the girls to choose one lollipop after class and Sophia lives for this!

Alicia and Sophia

These two girls are becoming fast friends, too. Alicia just moved here from Korea a few months ago, and like Sophia, she loves art, ballet and dressing up.

Ballet photos

I took photos in ballet class two weekends ago and I will share a few (of Sophia) here.

Friends

Sophia and Ella are becoming fast friends. They are in the same preschool class and they are also in Broadway class together on Saturday mornings. And they stil want to see each other for playdates.

Fiddle Performance

Two weekends ago on Saturday Sophia had her fiddle recital at the same church in Kensington where we took them for an Easter Egg hunt. She stood up in front of a large crowd of parents and played songs such as "Boil that Cabbage Down". Its a very fun scene!

Late night with Hazel

Sophia's friend, Hazel, came over about two weeks ago one evening so that her parents could have a date night. They played, had pizza and then watched movies in their pajamas. So far we have done these date night swaps with Jasper's parents and Hazel's parents and I want to keep this going.

New spot for dinner

Once in awhile Sophia needs to do her own thing, to have her own space. A few nights ago she set up this table for herself at the base of the staircase. Thalia, dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, wanted to join her.

New earrings

This past week the girls convinced me to buy them clip-on earrings. Sophia selected small blue butterflies and Thalia chose dangly tigers.

Ice Cream Truck

We went to the park this evening and had the chance to buy ice cream from an old-fashioned pink ice cream truck!
