Notebooks from Nana and Papa

Here the girls are enjoying the valentines notebooks sent from Nana and Papa. They both like to practice their letters.

Pixar

Sophia has a friend, Leila, in her preschool and ballet class whose parents both work at Pixar. We like these parents a lot and they gave us a tour this past weekend. What an incredible place to work. Its located in Emeryville, behind closed gates, tours are not offered to the public and a lot is secret. The main building on the campus reminds me of the main building in monsters inc. I didn't have my camera with me and most of the time photography was forbidden but I was able to use my iphone camera in the entry area.

Our new pool is open

The Albany Community Pool is now open. This afternoon it officially opened its doors. Its just 2 blocks away from our house, connected to Memorial Park and the high school. There is an indoor and outdoor pool. Here you can see a view of the outdoor pool. We are so excited about this and want to sign the girls up for lessons soon.

Valentine

Thalia was beaming when she opened the valentine from Nana and Papa. "Look! Its a butterly. I love it" she told me. I kept her home today after her field trip to the fire station

because she was acting sick. Here she is wearing an outfit that she picked out and is carrying her baby "Julia" in the monkey purse.
