Watching Toy Story

Two weeks ago I brought Sophia over to watch Toy Story 1 with Randall (and Ruby and Naomi). This photo was taken by Ruby.

We will miss you, Randall

I'm grateful to have had the experience of getting to know Randall. Not only was he one of Steve's best friends, but he also took the time to get to know Sophia and Thalia. Sophia stayed with Randall and Naomi when I went to the hospital to have Thalia. We hosted Thanksgiving last year and Randall and Naomi were our guests. I'm happy to post a few photos from that evening.

Five Years Ago

Steve and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary with some champagne in Napa in Domaine Carneros and a nice dinner at Bay Wolf. Happy Anniversary! I love you, Steve.

Baby Jahla Genevieve

On Wednesday last week I brought the girls with me to the Legion of Honor in San Francisco to take photos of my friend, Yasmine's 4 month old baby girl, Jahla Genevieve. She is a very sweet-natured little girl. And both of my girls, Sophia especially, loved her. Sophia was a very good assistant!

Fairies and Heroes Birthday Party

Yesterday after ballet class we took Sophia to a "Fairies and Superheroes" birthday party in the Ducks Nest garden. Most of the kids at the party were in Sophia's Mallard classroom. Taj is the ninja turtle running away. Magdalena is now in kindergarten and is the big sister of Margot, who is in the Mallard class. Both Magdalena and Margot are in Sophia's ballet class.

Sophia is obsessed with art and making books. She is very proud of each of the now 3 books that she has created all by herself. She asks us to sit down and read it to her and to Thalia. This mornings she created the third book, which I will write about separately. This book is about a blue rabbit. Coming soon: more about her third book: "Finding Princesses".
